Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Junior DCS Engineer with PLC background in Warrington. The role offers training on complex DCS configurations and the chance to advance into client-facing systems engineering on onshore and offshore sites. Expect stay-away/payoffers with offshore work and a strong benefits package.

You will programme PLCs, configure DCS systems and develop skills toward autonomous systems engineering while joining a global OEM environment.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and configuring PLCs or similar.
• Willing to travel offshore up to 2 weeks at a time.
• UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Programming distributed control systems used for industrial automation
• Flexible hybrid working with up to 3 days at home per week
• Full training on bespoke systems
• Occasional travel and offshore work for up to 2 weeks at a time
• Every other Friday off
