Job summary

MarketCast Inc. seeks a Junior Data Scientist to support analytical research projects in the UK client-facing Data Science unit.

You will analyse large datasets, generate client reports, and explore new data sources. You will use Python, SQL, and Streamlit on our AWS data platform, build models, and collaborate with the India-based Data Engineering team and US/UK sales and market research teams to deliver client-focused insights.

Qualifications

• Solid data analytics skills with proficiency in SQL, Python and Pandas.
• Written and verbal communication skills for client-facing work.
• Interest in data visualization and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Explore and extract data from multiple sources to create meaningful insights.
• Design and develop algorithms, programs, methods and processes.
• Research, develop, and test supervised and unsupervised learning models.
• Maintain and improve ML pipelines and products.
• Use Python, SQL and Streamlit for reporting on our AWS data platform.
• Collaborate with India-based Data Engineering and US/UK teams.
