Job summary

ABS is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join our Europe AI Practice Team as a full-time role based in Warrington or London, England with some remote flexibility.

You will work with senior data scientists to clean, model, and analyze client data, build dashboards, and contribute to NLP and production-ready analytics, gaining hands-on experience across modern data tooling.

Experience with Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and BI tools is desirable, and prior project work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
• 2+ years applying data science/ML methods.
• Proficient with Python, SQL and ML libraries.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, structure, and analyze client data for modeling.
• Develop, test, and document ML models and analytics pipelines.
• Extract, transform, and enrich information from reports using NLP.
• Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with consultants to translate business questions into tasks.
