Ohme seeks a Graduate Data Product Engineer to join our data team in London. You will help develop cutting-edge data products for internal and external use, collaborating across data analysts, engineers and product stakeholders.

You will design scalable data pipelines on AWS, implement IaC with AWS CDK, and contribute to data services and APIs that power our platform. A strong engineering mindset and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical degree with data/software engineering background
• Appreciation for software engineering best practices (IaC, testing, environments, Agile)
• Proficiency in Python, Git and AWS

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, architectures and APIs on AWS
• Automate deployment and data infrastructure management using IaC tools like AWS CDK
• Contribute to Ohme’s data products central to the proposition
• Monitor and optimize data system performance for reliability and efficiency
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation
