Job summary

Ageas is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to join a collaborative data team in the UK. You will design and build modern machine learning and AI data services to support analytics and improve products across the business.

You’ll work with Databricks or Snowflake on AWS, develop pipelines and maintain data quality while collaborating in agile squads and supporting GenAI infrastructure and workflows.

Skills and experience as the Senior Data Engineer:

• Passionfor building scalable, resilient cloud data platforms
  
• Strongexperience with Databricks or Snowflake on AWS
  
• ProvenPython skills, including Spark and Airflow expertise
  
• AdvancedSQL skills and end-to-end data modelling experience
  
• Experiencebuilding batch and real-time data integrations
  
• Hands-onCICD skills with Git, Jenkins or similar
  
• Abilityto ingest, cleanse and structure large, diverse datasets
  
• Knowledgeof Terraform or similar IaC tools
  
• Experiencewith Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial
  
• Exposureto production Generative AI is an advantage
  
• Strongcollaboration skills and a proactive attitude
