Job summary

Datatech Analytics in London is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, using Python, SQL and Spark to manage large consumer datasets.

You will collaborate with analytics and data science teams, apply AWS data services, and explore AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery and data quality in a fast-paced startup environment.

AWS Data Engineer - London

Salary: £60,000-£75,000 Dependent on Experience

London: Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office, 2 days home-based

An exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a growing technology business specialising in consumer data and analytics.

Working within a small, talented team of engineers, analysts and data scientists, you will play a hand-on role in developing and improving the data platform, building scalable data pipelines and working with large volumes of consumer data.

Strong coding fundamentals across Python, SQL and Spark are key, alongside a genuine interest in how AI is changing data engineering. You will already be using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude in your day-to-day work, while having the technical knowledge to understand, review and challenge the code they produce.
