Prevail Partners is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Data) to join the Platform & System Operations team on a permanent basis. You will help build and ship data-driven solutions used by intelligence analysts, using Python, SQL, Databricks and AWS in a collaborative, security-conscious environment.

The role reports to the Software Team Lead and offers growth opportunities as you work with senior engineers to deliver reliable tools while maintaining high data security standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding in Python and SQL with data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git and code review processes.
• Degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and release features across internal tools and platforms.
• Write and maintain Python and SQL across data pipelines and backend services.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate problems into actionable work items.
• Deepen knowledge of Databricks, AWS, Python and React over time.
