Job summary

Nextech Group Limited in Rugeley is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our team. This role combines day-to-day IT support with opportunities to work with data, AI, automation and emerging technologies.

You will provide hands-on IT support, manage tickets, and troubleshoot systems while developing skills in Python and data tools. This is primarily on-site in Rugeley, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and career growth in AI & data.

Qualifications

Rugeley | Primarily On-Site | £28,000–£32,000 DOE

Are you an IT Support professional with a passion for AI and Data, looking for an opportunity where you can combine both?

We’re working with an established digital business looking for a technically curious IT Support Analyst to join its team. This is not just a traditional support role – alongside providing day-to-day technical support, you'll have the opportunity to work with data, AI, automation and emerging technologies.

What you'll be doing

• Providing hands-on IT support and resolving technical issues
• Managing and responding to support tickets
• Troubleshooting systems, applications and user issues
• Working with data, databases and SQL
• Analysing data to identify trends and insights
• Exploring how AI and automation can improve products and processes
• Supporting AI/data-led projects across the business
• Developing your skills across Python, AI and data technologies

What we're looking for

• Previous IT Support, Service Desk or Technical Support experience
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and troubleshooting
• Some knowledge of SQL, databases or data analysis
• Exposure to Python would be advantageous
• A genuine interest in AI, machine learning, LLMs or automation
• Someone who actively wants to develop their career across AI & Data
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

You don't need to be an AI expert. We're looking for someone who already has practical IT support experience but is actively developing their knowledge of AI and Data and wants an opportunity to bring the two together.
