This position is office-based, requiring regular in-person collaboration and use of office equipment to maximize effectiveness. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Glasgow office and should expect to be in the office at least 4 days a week.

What You’ll Do

We are a product data team responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines in Snowflake and creating high-performance Tableau dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. We are looking for a Product Data Analyst who can translate stakeholder needs into efficient, scalable, and insightful Tableau dashboards. Your responsibilities include optimizing dashboard performance, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with data engineers and analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable dashboards.
2. Develop and maintain optimized Tableau dashboards focusing on performance and usability.
3. Query and analyze data stored in Snowflake, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
4. Identify and resolve dashboard performance and data quality issues.
5. Collaborate with data engineers to define and create new data sources as needed.
6. Ensure data consistency, governance, and best practices in reporting and visualization.
7. Provide training and support to stakeholders on dashboard usage.
8. Continuously improve dashboards based on feedback and evolving requirements.

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Experience with Tableau for building interactive dashboards and optimizing performance.
• Proficiency in SQL, especially querying large datasets in Snowflake or similar data lakes.
• Ability to identify and resolve performance issues in Tableau and database queries.
• Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders and presenting insights.
• Experience working with data engineers to define and validate data sources.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation.
• Experience with product analytics or customer behavior data.
