Job summary

Insite Energy is seeking a Junior Credit Controller to support early-stage arrears collection for residents across our heat network portfolio. You will work with the Senior Credit Controller to establish payment plans, maintain records in CIS, and help reduce outstanding debt with a customer-focused approach.

The role involves handling calls, emails, and correspondence, while adhering to housing regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or administrative role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence speaking with customers by telephone.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word).
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident accounts with low to medium arrears.
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, and written correspondence to residents regarding overdue accounts.
• Support residents in establishing affordable payment plans in line with procedures.
• Process payments and assist residents with Direct Debit set-up and account queries.
• Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions and account activity.
• Escalate complex arrears cases to the Senior Credit Controller for review.
