Control System Engineer (1-3 years experience) | South Yorkshire (Hybrid)

Package: up to £26k base + overtime + private medical + life assurance + fees paid for professional registration + generous learning and development budget to support further learning.

We are recruiting for a junior control system engineer to join a busy projects team at a control system integrator.

You might be part way through an apprenticeship and feel lost or feel stunted in a graduate role. You must have at least 1 year of experience working with PLCs or electrical design in a business environment.

This medium-sized control system integration business has historic partnerships with local authorities, large multinational corporations, and other niche companies, all within growth.

They work on unique R&D projects, such as a new AR/VR control system for aerospace applications.

The company has an excellent track record of supporting engineer development, with many achieving chartership while working there.

Career development pathways include application engineering (developing FDS), design engineering (software/electrical), service/commissioning, and project management.

They have a successful history of training junior engineers into competent controls engineers with multi-vendor experience who now hold leadership roles.
