Job summary

ARU in London is seeking a Junior Contracts Manager to support delivery of flooring/construction projects across London and the South East. You’ll work with Site Managers, Surveyors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet timescales and budgets.

We offer full training, a permanent full-time role, and a clear path to progression in contracts management within a growing construction business. Salary around £30,000 p.a., flexible training and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Construction-related education is advantageous.
• Degree in Construction Management or related discipline is welcomed, or progress towards a management pathway.
• Understanding of construction processes, site operations, specs or project management; knowledge of estimating, scheduling or construction management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage key administrative tasks: project records, appointments and correspondence.
• Prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Produce and assist with complex quotations.
• Attend pre-start and site meetings as required.
• Liaise with logistics to coordinate material orders and deliveries.
• Support delivery of projects to agreed timescales and budgets.
• Build positive relationships with Site Managers, Surveyors and installation teams.
• Support quality, health and safety requirements.
