The role oversees delivery of multiple flooring projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring programme, quality, client relationships and profitability.

Based in Hertfordshire/London & Home Counties, you will work with estimating during pre-contract stages and take full responsibility for project delivery, including

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the contract flooring sector.
• Strong operational knowledge with good commercial awareness.
• Experience delivering flooring packages within the residential sector.
• Existing network of flooring subcontractors and fitters would be highly advantageous.
• Strong client-facing and organisational skills.
• Ambitious individual looking to lead and develop a growing business division.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple contract flooring projects across London and the Home Counties.
• Support pre-contract activities, programming and mobilisation.
• Oversee site operations, quality, programme and client relationships.
• Work closely with the commercial team to manage contract performance and profitability.
• Procure and coordinate subcontract labour.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and flooring installers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Contracts Manager - Contract Flooring

£65,000-£75,000 + Company Vehicle + Package

Lead and grow an established flooring division with a respected specialist contractor.

Albion is exclusively supporting a long-established specialist contractor with the appointment of a Contracts Manager to lead its growing Contract Flooring division.

With over 20 years' trading history, the business has built an outstanding reputation within the residential construction sector, delivering painting, decorating and specialist finishing packages for many of the UK's leading developers and contractors. Having successfully launched its contract flooring division three years ago, the company is now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of the department and drive its continued growth.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of multiple flooring projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, quality, client relationships and commercial performance are maintained.

Working closely with the estimating team, you’ll become involved during pre-contract stages before taking full responsibility for project delivery. You’ll also support the commercial aspects of contracts, helping to maximise profitability while maintaining excellent client service.
