About the Junior Content Designer...
Purpose

Deliver the information that people care about and that has the greatest impact to the business, at the right times and in the right ways.

Orientation

Contribute to content requirements, strategy, structure, and creation throughout engagements at the project level — learning the craft of content design through doing, collaborating, and iterating.

Be adventurous. Bring a vision. Make an impact. Rely on empathy. Nurture collaboration. Stay transparent. Be bold and generous in all you do.

In the role you will...
Craft
  • Contribute to content design activities including client workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms.
  • Apply UX fundamentals such as user needs, journeys, tasks, flows, interaction patterns and accessibility when shaping content.
  • Create content and key content design deliverables: content style guides, content matrices, copy decks, and presentation decks.
  • Create and hand over content requirements based on relevant business objectives, technical information, and design considerations.
  • Support the definition of information architecture and content structure at the project level.
Project
  • Contribute to product design projects from discovery through delivery, supporting activities such as journey mapping, concept development, prototyping, testing and iteration.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers and researchers to align content with journeys, wireframes, prototypes and design systems.
  • Support design research activities at a project level, helping turn insight and feedback into clearer content and experience decisions.
Client
  • Work in collaboration with client teams to understand the user, business, and brand context.
  • Present content and experience design thinking clearly, explaining the rationale behind decisions and showing how they support user needs, business goals and design intent.
  • Share content best practices in pitch efforts and client meetings to support new business development efforts.
Community
  • Attend and help plan studio and community events and workshops.
Requirements
Skillset
  • Experience in translating business and customer requirements into compelling content across different touchpoints.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and experience in designing to industry-recognised standards.
  • Experience supporting online and offline workshops and interviews to inform or validate design decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners, verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of the content landscape: content design, content strategy, information architecture, and content operations.
  • Understanding of human-centred design, design thinking mindset and approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
Set Yourself Apart
  • Previous work using GDS (Government Design System) is very desirable.
  • Show curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, including how they may support content design, research synthesis, prototyping and responsible experience design.
Personal
  • Believe strategic thinking should be supported by tangible solutions that help clients connect to their users through memorable experiences.
  • Understand content design as a discipline and a practice and be committed to developing your expertise.
  • Demonstrate an ability to deliver what you commit to, with care and consistency.
What's in it for You

In addition to a competitive salary package, you will benefit from an extensive rewards offering including 25 days' annual leave, private medical insurance, and 3 additional days' leave per year for charitable work of your choice.

Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role. There will be a requirement to spend meaningful time on-site with clients, partners, and teams to enable delivery of the first-class experiences we are known for.

Some clients require background checks. You will need to complete a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) to confirm your identity, criminal record, right to work and residency.

Comfortable with hybrid working. Every project is different, but we love our team to be in the studio and in our client's office to work collaboratively.

Accenture is an equal opportunities employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
