Job summary

Quantum is seeking a Junior Commercial Insights Analyst in London to turn data into actionable reporting relied on by commercial, marketing, and product teams.

You'll own dashboards, collaborate across departments, and grow toward a Commercial Insights Analyst role while leveraging AI to speed up analysis and insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in a maths or science based subject
• 1–2 years hands-on analytics or data experience (including placements)
• AI native mindset and ability to accelerate analysis
• SQL proficiency and confidence with BI tools (Tableau)
• Strong commercial curiosity and ability to translate numbers into recommendations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
• Clear written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Own dashboards and reports that leaders check weekly
• Work with BigQuery, SQL, and Tableau on commercially important questions
• Collaborate directly with marketing, product, and commercial teams
• Develop models to support channel performance, cohort analysis, and GP forecasting

The role

Our Commercial Insights team is growing! We're looking for a Junior Commercial Insights Analyst to join our team in London.

In this role you'll own real analysis from day one, turning data from across the business into reporting and recommendations that commercial, marketing, and product teams rely on.

• Own a set of dashboards and reports that leaders check every week

• Work across BigQuery, SQL, and Tableau on questions that matter commercially

• Partner directly with teams across the business, not behind a request queue

• Grow fast, with a clear path toward a Commercial Insights Analyst role

Key responsibilities

• Identify and investigate commercial questions across all areas of marketing, commercial, product and technology - and turn the findings into recommendations that drive meaningful outcomes

• Partner directly with marketing, product, and commercial teams to scope analytical work - you define the brief as much as you respond to it

• Use data visualisation tools such as Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Tableau, Power BI and Looker with guidance from senior analysts

• Build and maintain models that support commercial decisions - channel performance, cohort analysis, and GP forecasting

• Use AI to accelerate analysis and develop new approaches to problem solving, better and faster analytics and automation

• Write and optimise SQL queries against BigQuery to answer commercial questions

About you

• Degree in a maths or science based subject

• One to two years of hands-on experience in an analytics or data role, including placements or internships

• AI native. AI is embedded in how you work. You reach for it to accelerate analysis, challenge your thinking, and do in hours what used to take days. You are curious about where the technology is going and are actively developing your skills in it.

• Working knowledge of SQL and confidence with a BI tool such as Tableau, plus Excel and GA4

• Commercially curious, keen to understand the why behind the numbers and turn it into recommendations

• Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines with growing independence

• You thrive when working as part of a team

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• You communicate findings clearly and with conviction - written and verbal, to technical and non-technical audiences equally.
