Job summary

Quantum in London is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own forecasting and strategy models, from data infrastructure to experiments that drive business decisions.

You will design, build and evaluate models, turning outputs into actionable reporting for stakeholders, and raise the analytics bar across the team. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

• Several years building and shipping statistical and machine learning models in production.
• Fluent in Python and SQL, and comfortable owning model infrastructure end to end.

The Role

Our Business Analytics team is growing! We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in London.

In this role you will own the models that drive our forecasting and strategy, from the data infrastructure behind them to the experiments that prove them out, turning statistical and machine learning work into reporting the business actually acts on.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Several years building and shipping statistical and machine learning models in production, ideally in a commercial or performance-driven setting

• Fluent in Python and SQL, and comfortable owning model infrastructure end to end

• Strong on experiment design and model selection, and honest about how to evaluate what actually works

• Able to translate complex modelling into clear reporting that non-technical stakeholders can act on

• You challenge AI rather than lean on it, using it to move faster without losing rigour

• You thrive when working as part of a team

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Have excellent written and verbal English skills
