Moxie People, partnering with a growing precision engineering business in Cardiff, is recruiting a Junior CNC Operator. You will join a skilled team producing precision components and learn CNC milling, turning and 5-axis machining.

The role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or engineering experience seeking a long-term career. You will receive full training and development in a modern workshop.

Qualifications

• Some experience in manufacturing, engineering or machine operation.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings or willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Reliability and eagerness to develop a long-term career in CNC.
• Basic measuring equipment experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Perform basic machine setups and tooling changes.
• Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Support experienced machinists and ISO 9001 quality standards.
