Qualifications

• HNC in engineering or a mechanical engineering degree.
• Strong interest in CNC machining, CAD design and manufacturing.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Positive attitude and willingness to develop new skills.
• Any exposure to CAD software, CNC machinery or engineering projects would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, progressing towards 5-axis machining.
• Develop CAD/CAM programming skills.
• Use CAD software to create and modify designs.
• Read engineering drawings and understand machining requirements.
• Select tooling and understand machining strategies.
• Inspect components and work to precision engineering standards.
