Job description

Applications are invited for a full-time Junior Clinical Fellow Post in the Plastic Surgery Department, created in response to service needs.

1. Two 6-month posts are available: 6/8/25 to 3/2/26 and 4/2/26 to 4/8/26.
2. Applicants unable to undertake the duties of a full-time post for personal reasons will be given equal consideration. If appointed, the job content will be modified accordingly in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management.

4. The appointee will be part of the resident doctor team providing medical care for inpatient, day case, outpatient, and emergency plastic surgical patients. Responsibilities include attending ward rounds, clerking elective and emergency patients, participating in operating lists (as assistant and primary surgeon, depending on experience), and attending outpatient clinics. Most work will be onsite at Norfolk & Norwich NHS Trust, with limited peripheral clinics and operating lists in other hospitals.
