Job description

We are recruiting for TWO CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGERS to join our operations team, with one role based in Brighton (South) and the other in Halifax (North). These positions offer a 50-50 mix of home/office and client site work. Please note: there will be significant travel to our offices during the first few months, so flexibility is key.

About the Role

As a Client Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible value from our services. This is not a sales role but a customer relationship position. Your primary responsibilities include understanding client needs, providing training, and offering solutions to any issues they encounter.

Working hours are 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening support may be required for client events, always with prior notice.

You will report to the Senior Account Manager and collaborate closely with the operations team to deliver excellent service. This role is vital for client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, supporting them throughout their contracts and encouraging retention.
  2. Deliver training sessions to new clients and provide refresher training as needed.
  3. Address client concerns and coordinate with relevant teams to implement solutions; escalate complaints when necessary.
  4. Keep client records up to date with accurate information.
  5. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring issues are followed up and resolved promptly.
  6. Travel regularly to client sites, company offices, and occasionally for conferences or events (up to three days per week).
  7. Participate in meetings with senior managers and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

  3. Confidence, self-motivation, and independence in working.
  4. A clean driving license is required for travel, with the ability to plan journeys efficiently and safely.
  5. Experience in customer service, training, or relationship management is advantageous.
  6. Competitive salary plus an additional £6,300 per year car allowance or a company car (TBD).
