Job summary

Collecting Cars is seeking a Junior Consignment Specialist in London to source, price and present high-quality consignments for auction on our platform. You will engage with sellers and collectors, build long-lasting partnerships, and support the consignments team across the UK and internationally.

You will train comprehensively, join a fast-moving team, and develop cross-functional skills in pricing, sales administration and customer service.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in business management or marketing is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Keen interest in cars of all genres and eras.
• Knowledge of how the collector car market operates.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and pricing negotiation abilities.
• Strong business development skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively to engage with customers and maintain high service levels.
• Research value of collectible cars and analyze market trends for informed pricing.
• Coordinate sales administration during the start of the process.
• Use Salesforce to convert prospects into Collecting Cars customers.
• Negotiate prices and build a strong pipeline of high-quality leads.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the collector market.
• Keep knowledge current by reading industry publications and networking.
• Initiate conversations with sellers about the selling process.
• Coordinate photography and viewing arrangements with the consignments team.
• Research competitors' pricing and market success across platforms.
