Job summary

Amour Recruitment is recruiting a Junior Buyer to join a growing client’s team in Havant. In this role you will support the procurement function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring a steady supply of materials and components for production.

You will work with experienced buyers, gaining confidence and developing your skills, with full qualification and training support provided by the employer. The role offers day-to-day purchasing activities and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in buying or procurement, ideally within manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, both internally and externally.
• Experience across MRP/ERP systems is desirable.
• Experience in planning, scheduling and delivery tracking is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Placing and managing orders, monitoring supply and delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with core suppliers.
• Ensure accurate documentation, to ensure clear requirements, and reduce risk of discrepancy.
• Collaborate and communicate cross departmentally, to maintain clear communication channels.
