Job summary

LGT Fund Managers (FL) AG is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join the Private Markets Platform team. You will work across business, architecture and project management to shape scalable processes and end-to-end transformations.

You will analyze requirements, document gap analyses, write test cases, support UAT, and help bridge business and IT while assisting in change management and tool adoption across the firm.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in business analysis in financial services or consulting.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver on time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Designing, re-engineering and documenting key business processes with stakeholders on business and IT side.
• Conducting requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments across topics.
• Writing test cases, organize and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Supporting project management activities, such as organizing workshops with SMEs and overseeing IT delivery.
• Defining and presenting conceptual approaches, target operating models and documenting results.
• Closely work with IT counterparts to bridge between business and technology teams.
• Training business users on rolled-out tools, promoting adoption and change management.

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst in our fast-growing Private Markets Platform team. The team brings together expertise in Business Analysis, Business Architecture, and Project Management, and plays a central role in shaping how the firm operates at scale. Our focus is on driving large-scale transformations, improving end-to-end processes, and designing scalable, future-ready solutions that support our clients and investment teams.

What you will do

• Design ing , re- engineer ing and document ing key business processes with different stakeholders on business and IT side;
• Conduct ing requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments on a wide range of topics across the company;
• Writ ing test cases, organi s e and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
• Support ing in project management activities, such as organi s ing workshops with SMEs, overseeing IT delivery, preparing status reports and resource & work planning;
• Defin ing and present ing conceptual approaches (orally and in writing), target operating models, prepar ing solution options and required decisions, and document ing results;
• Closely work ing with IT counterparts to bridge between business and technology teams;
• Train ing business users on rolled-out tools, push for adoption and support the entire change management process.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent, qualifying experience in Business Economics, BusinessInformaticsor Information Technology;
• First working experience of business analysis in a financial services company or with a leading consulting firm in a similar hands-on role at the interface between Business and IT;
• Motivation to work on own initiative and in collaboration with various stakeholders, ability to deliver on time witha high levelof integrity;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions as well as process information quickly;
• Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results;
• Great teamplayer and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English.
