Job summary

ACS is seeking a focused Junior Business Analyst to join our in-house Digital Transformation team to assist on large automation projects and technology initiatives across the business.

You will build knowledge of the business, document requirements, create process maps and wireframes, and work with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure solutions meet objectives. This role is ideal for someone with 1 year in IT projects and a BA foundation certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in IT project team or similar (essential).
• BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis or equivalent (desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft core products.
• Knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques and project delivery methodologies (agile and waterfall) – desirable.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of creativity, adaptability and persistence.
• Energetic, passionate and driven.

Responsibilities

• Building knowledge of the business, its products, processes and SOPs.
• Assisting with project startup and initiation to identify objectives and benefits.
• Eliciting, validating and documenting business requirements for various IT products.
• Designing and recommending improvements to processes and systems.
• Producing ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ process maps.
• Creating wireframes and mock-ups for business requirements.
• Liaising with SMEs and 3rd party suppliers to ensure solutions meet objectives and deliver best user experience.
• Raising potential risks, issues and blockers.
• Collaborating with the wider project team and providing support (solution design, testing, training, etc.).
• Assist with triaging and validating bugs.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions and retrospectives.

Job Description

• Assisting with the project start up and initiation phases to help identify and document project objectives and benefits
• Eliciting, validating and documenting business requirements for various IT products
• Designing and recommending improvements to new and existing processes and systems
• Producing ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ process maps
• Creating wireframes and mock-ups to support the business requirements
• Liaising with business SMEs and 3rd party suppliers throughout the project lifecycle to ensuresolutions meet projects objectives and deliver the best user experience

• Collaborating with the wider project team members and providing support when required (including solution designing, testing, training, support etc.)
