Wates Smartspace is seeking an ambitious Assistant Building Services Manager to join our growing team in the UK. This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who has gained experience within the Mechanical & Electrical sector and is looking to develop technical expertise, project knowledge and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, coordinating and delivering M&E packages on construction projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and specialist suppliers to agendas and budgets.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical packages.
• Support Building Services Manager in managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress against programme milestones and flag risks or delays.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to project delivery discussions.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.
