Job summary

Experian Information Solutions, Inc. in Nottingham is seeking a junior BI & Data Engineering Analyst on a 12-month FTC to support dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics.

You will work with Power BI, Python, SQL, and AWS to turn data into insights, collaborating with business and technical teams while learning to design scalable data solutions for executive audiences. This hybrid role requires 40% in the office and reports to the VP for Enterprise AI Programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Some programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools e.g. Power BI.
• Academic or personal projects creating dashboards, ETL pipelines, or data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support development of dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions.
• Assist in building and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create and modify DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Develop data models using star schemas and table relationships.
• Write Python code for data pipelines and data quality checks.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.
• Identify KPIs and metrics from business questions.
• Ensure data quality and dashboard performance.
