Job summary

Deluxe Entertainment in London seeks an Audio Services Assistant to support the worldwide audio post-production team. You will join editors and engineers, helping with tracklaying, editing, QC, and conforming audio to picture cuts.

With a minimum of 2 years in audio post-production, you will handle file ingests, archive materials, and liaise with clients and account managers to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.

• Assist Audio Services Manager and team on daily basis and deliver materials to clients via digital platforms.
• Perform audio editing tasks: tracklaying, clean up and sync, QC of material before dispatch.
• Conform audio to different picture cuts and ensure deliverables meet specs and timelines.
• Ingest audio data onto servers, manage files and archive materials.
• Maintain client excel sheets/trackers and liaise with clients and account managers.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and support during extended hours/weekends when needed.

Undertake a variety of duties based in our worldwide Audio Services department.,

• Become an integral part of the audio department alongside other editorial members of the team.
• Assist the Audio Services Manager and worldwide Audio Services department on a daily basis and be aware of all materials needing to be delivered from the facility via various digital platforms
• Audio editing duties to support our worldwide Audio Services department including:
  • Tracklaying
  • Clean up and sync
  • Full technical QCs of material before it is despatched to clients
  • Conforming audio to different picture cuts
  • Ensure that all deliverables are complete & delivered on time
  • Make deliverables for all our major clients as requested per technical specs
  • General file management duties
  • Ingest all audio data onto our servers and systems throughout the facility
  • Archive appropriate audio material
  • Follow and comply with client audio checks upon request
• Other duties include:
  • Maintaining and updating client excel sheets/trackers
  • Liaising with clients, client service representatives and account managers
  • Using internal company admin tools and processes
• Share knowledge and provide support to colleagues when required.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required to support operational and client deadlines.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the business.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in audio post-production.
• Good understanding of film sound technology, including post-production processes, Avid Pro Tools, various file formats, and post-production workflows.
• Previous Audio QC experience with a strong working knowledge of Avid Pro Tools.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding client deadlines.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to team objectives.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Adaptable and proactive approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
