Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment are representing a well-established architectural practice in Cheadle, Cheshire, seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist to join their growing technical team. The role focuses on supporting Revit-based design work and developing technical delivery across RIBA Stages 4 and 5.

You will work on automotive showroom environments, with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) and a clear path for progression as your experience grows.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Architectural Design, Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Around 1-3 years' professional experience as an Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician.
• Good working knowledge of Revit is essential.
• Understanding of technical design and construction detailing.
• Exposure to RIBA Stages 4 and 5 would be advantageous.
• Live within a commutable distance of Cheadle, Cheshire with hybrid working in mind.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop architectural and technical drawings using Revit.
• Support the preparation of detailed design and construction information.
• Assist with projects progressing through RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
• Develop an understanding of construction detailing, materials and technical design.
• Assist Architects and senior Technologists with the production of technical packages.
• Support coordination of architectural information with consultants and other disciplines.
• Assist with resolving technical queries and design issues.
• Gain exposure to construction projects and site delivery.
• Support the rollout of new corporate identities and showroom environments for major automotive clients.
• Work on high-quality commercial and technically demanding projects.
• Develop knowledge of Building Regulations, construction standards and technical requirements.
• Collaborate within a close-knit team of Architects, Technologists and Associates.
• Progress towards taking greater responsibility for technical delivery as experience develops.

Bennett & Game are representing a well-established and specialist architectural practice based in Cheadle, Cheshire, who are looking for a Junior Architectural Technologist to join their growing technical team.

With over 40 years of experience, our client has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality architectural projects across the UK, with a particular specialism in the Automotive sector. The practice works with some of the world's leading automotive brands, delivering high-end showroom environments, workshops and associated commercial facilities.

The successful candidate will initially support the team on the rollout of new corporate identities and showroom environments for major automotive clients, before developing into a more technically focused position as these schemes progress onto site. This will provide excellent exposure to RIBA Stages 4 and 5, technical design, detailing, coordination and construction delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician with good Revit skills who is looking to develop their technical expertise within a supportive and experienced team.
