IBM is seeking an entry-level AI Software Engineer to join the AI Center of Excellence. You’ll design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features on IBM Cloud, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

You will work with Watsonx, Granite, and related tools, keep up with generative AI trends, participate in agile ceremonies, and grow through hands-on projects that matter to clients worldwide.

Formación

• Experience as a full stack developer with a focus in AI and an understanding of backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java).
• Experience in web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON, HTML, Ajax, JavaScript) and AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API.
• Understanding of LLM prompt engineering and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development workflows.
• Strong communication in English and collaboration with design/engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test AI applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Follow security best practices in development to meet IBM’s policies and industry standards.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and technical decisions effectively to stakeholders.
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with technical account managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and other developers to integrate AI components.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in generative AI, IBM Cloud services, and relevant technologies.
