Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting a Junior Agricultural Engineer (Level 3 Trainee) for Worksop. You will work on a wide range of agricultural, horticultural and ground-care machinery, diagnosing faults and carrying out servicing and repairs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with hydraulics alongside mechanical and electrical systems is essential.
  • Experience in agricultural, automotive, material handling or mechanical engineering environments is advantageous.
  • Experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair and servicing is advantageous.
  • Experience working with engines and batteries is advantageous.
  • An NVQ, City & Guilds or similar qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing faults, servicing machinery and carrying out emergency breakdown repairs.
  • Working on agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, balers and other equipment.
  • Traveling to customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Working on engines, batteries and hydraulic systems.
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
  • Working independently at customer sites while maintaining close communication with colleagues.
  • Completing relevant documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaising directly with customers to diagnose faults and identify effective solutions.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with customer expectations.

Salary:£26,000 - £29,000 per annum
Hours:Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Overtime:1.5× Monday-Saturday | 2× Sundays & Bank Holidays

The Role
