Job summary
Interaction Technical is recruiting a Junior Engineer/Apprentice Engineer to join a respected supplier of agricultural and ground-care equipment in Keighley. You will start by diagnosing faults, servicing machinery and performing repairs, with travel to customer sites.
The role offers a path to a Level 3 Land Based Engineering Qualification, extensive training, and real progression opportunities within the agricultural engineering sector.
Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics alongside mechanical and electrical systems essential.
- Experience in agricultural, automotive, or mechanical engineering environments advantageous.
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair and servicing advantageous.
- Experience working with engines and batteries advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing faults, servicing machinery and carrying out emergency breakdown repairs.
- Working on agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, balers and other equipment.
- Travelling to customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Working independently at customer sites while maintaining close communication with colleagues.
