Interaction Recruitment is actively recruiting aJunior Agricultural Engineer for Langworth, Lincolnshire. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £26,000–£29,000 per year, 32 days holiday, and overtime options.

You will service and repair a wide range of agricultural, horticultural and ground-care machinery, travelling to customer sites and diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment. The position provides extensive training, opportunities to gain a Level 3 Land Based Engineering

Qualifications

• Hydraulics experience in addition to mechanical/electrical skills.
• Experience in agricultural, automotive, or mechanical engineering environments.
• Experience with engines and batteries is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults, servicing machinery and carrying out emergency breakdown repairs.
• Working on agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, balers and other equipment.
• Travelling to customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Working on engines, batteries and hydraulic systems.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Working independently at customer sites while maintaining close communication with colleagues.
• Completing relevant documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Liaising directly with customers to diagnose faults and identify effective solutions.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with customer expectations.
