Job summary

Lancer Scott, based in Bristol, is seeking a commercially driven trainee accountant who wants to start an accounting career and take advantage of fully funded AAT/ACCA/CIMA studies. You will gain experience across core financial activities while learning how a growing SME runs its finance function.

Your day-to-day duties include assisting with financial transactions, processing invoices and expenses, supporting month-end processes, and helping improve processes through automation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Good time management with prioritising tasks.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for accounting work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, with ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day financial transactions and record-keeping.
• Process invoices and expense claims with accuracy and compliance.
• Help with month-end processes, reconcile accounts, and produce financial reports.
