Get-Recruited (UK) Ltd in Bristol is seeking an Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice. You will work with experienced accountants, handling purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, VAT support, and bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio.

This role offers study support toward further qualifications (AAT welcomed), a clear development path toward Management Accounts, and a friendly, collaborative team with strong training and progression

Qualifications

• Experience with purchase and sales ledgers and bank reconciliations.
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Keen to develop accounting knowledge and progress toward Management Accounts.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and maintain Purchase Ledger records.
• Raise sales invoices and maintain Sales Ledger records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with VAT returns and financial compliance.
