Job summary

JSS is hiring a Part-Qualified Accountant in the United Kingdom to join a growing international business. You will work within a small, collaborative finance team, gaining exposure to accounting, reporting, and process improvement, while pursuing ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualifications.

The role focuses on month-end, accounts payable oversight, treasury activities, and finance systems projects, offering study support and opportunities to develop under senior finance leaders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Exposure to month-end processes including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Accounts payable or purchase ledger experience.
• Active studies towards ACCA, CIMA or AAT.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with an interest in process improvement and systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the purchase-to-pay process and act as main contact for supplier invoices.
• Prepare and post month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support treasury and cash management activities.
• Assist with finance systems projects and data integrity.
• Document finance processes and improve controls where possible.
