Job summary

Hereford, United Kingdom – The Skills Coalition is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant with study support to join their Hereford office. You will handle year-end accounts and financial statements for diverse clients, participate in audits, and develop management accounts while acting as a reliable client contact.

The role requires at least 12 months' accountancy practice experience, part-qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent, and proficiency with accountancy software.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in accountancy practice (or equivalent).
• Part-qualified AAT/ACCA/ACA status, or qualified by experience.
• Proficiency in accountancy software (or a willingness to learn).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid driver's license and access to a car for occasional client visits.
• A positive, motivated attitude with a genuine interest in client and colleague success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts and financial statements for diverse clients, including businesses and non-profits.
• Participate in audits or independent examinations with experienced manager support.
• Develop clear management accounts to aid client understanding and growth.
• Serve as a friendly and reliable client contact.
• Support and guide junior colleagues.
• Manage time and workload with flexibility and independence.
