Job summary

Harrington Starr in London is seeking an Account Manager to look after and grow a portfolio of existing clients in the capital markets space. You will work with a senior account manager to own renewals from start to finish and protect revenue.

You will spot and close upsell opportunities, build trusted relationships with stakeholders at client firms, and keep account plans, pipeline and client records up to date. French/German/Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to three years' experience in financial markets, from fintech, a trading floor or a trading venue.
• Excellent organisation, with the discipline to keep a busy book of clients in order.
• A confident, outgoing personality and comfort dealing with senior client contacts.
• A commercial mindset and the drive to grow revenue from existing relationships.
• French, German or Spanish would be a real advantage.

This is an established software provider to capital markets firms, working with banks, brokers and financial institutions across the UK, Europe and the US. The commercial team has recently been restructured into dedicated new business and client growth functions, and this hire joins the client side.
