Waverley Borough Council seeks an experienced health and safety manager to lead a new team focused on corporate health and safety. Do you want to be involved in developing a new team dedicated to corporate health and safety?
Are you an experienced health and safety manager with a proven track record of delivering improvements?
As a qualified health and safety specialist with strong people skills, you will lead in implementing, developing, and monitoring health and safety issues across both Guildford and Waverley Borough Councils. You will foster a positive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
In this role, you will act as the lead advisor at all organizational levels to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of employees, contractors, visitors, and service users are protected.
This is a new role, offering a perfect opportunity to collaborate with existing managers to embed good health and safety practices throughout our organization.
This full-time role is for 37 hours per week, split between offices in Guildford and Godalming.
