Asper Recruitment is seeking a SOLIDWORKS CAD draughtsman/technician for a joinery specialist in Colchester. You will produce joinery drawings from client briefs and site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly, ensuring precise workshop outputs.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in high-quality joinery, capable of delivering accurate cutting lists and comprehensive drawings for production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CAD technician in the joinery environment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and capable of producing precise joinery/workshop drawings.
• Ability to prepare accurate cutting lists.

Job description

My client are looking to recruit for a SOLIDWORKS CAD draughtsman/technician. Applicants will need to have knowledge of Solidworks and joinery. My client are looking for an experienced joinery CAD Technician, who is capable of producing Joinery drawings right the way from initial client briefs/site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly. The candidate must be trained and proficient in the use of Solidworks and is able to produce precise Joinery/workshop drawings and accurate cutting lists. To be considered for this role you will need to have previous work experience as a CAD technician in the Joinery environment.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

• High proficiency in Solidworks
• Experienced in High quality joinery
