Job summary

Keighley College is seeking a motivated Apprenticeship Assessor/Teacher of Joinery & Carpentry to join the Apprenticeship Team. The role involves delivering engaging training and assessment, coaching learners, and building strong employer relationships to ensure successful apprenticeships.

Full-time and permanent, with potential for on-the-job training and progression toward a Level 3 Assessor qualification as part of professional development. Hybrid working options may be available.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Joinery & Carpentry.
• Experience in training or assessing learners.
• Strong communication with learners and employers.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment to apprentices in workplace and in college.
• Coach learners to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Build relationships with employers to support apprentice progression.
• Conduct progress reviews, set targets and track qualifications.
• Maintain accurate records in apprenticeship systems.
• Share industry expertise to inspire the next generation.
