Energy Jobline CVL in Birmingham seeks a Draughtsperson to work closely with the Assistant Works Manager, interpreting technical drawings and producing 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD for customer approval.

Once approved, all information is prepared for manufacturing by booking onto the shop floor. The role requires practical experience with joinery or metalwork and a strong grasp of manufacturing processes.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in designing to manufacture.
• Experience with joinery and or metalwork.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.

Working within a small team of both internal and external Draughtspersons/ Setter Outs, the appropriate candidate will be working closely with the Assistant Works Manager for interpreting technical drawings and then producing technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD, for customer approval. Once approved, all information is to then be booked out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing.
