Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Joinery Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to train and mentor carpenters on site at the Rotherham Campus with travel across South Yorkshire. You will lead engaging sessions, assess on-site performance, and develop KSBs to meet industry standards.

The role requires solid joinery experience, NVQ Level 3, A1/V1 assessor award and Level 5 teaching qualification (or progress toward them). Benefits include a local government pension, generous leave, and career development.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Joinery or Woodworking.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant wood trade.
• A1/V1 Assessor Award and Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or working toward them).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions bridging the workshop and the site.
• Develop Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) for modern employers.
• Conduct on-site performance reviews and assessments for apprentices.
• Track progress via e-portfolios and keep learners and employers aligned.
