Job summary

Vanrath is seeking a skilled joiner for Ballymena and surrounding areas to perform first and second fix joinery, repairs, and installations. You will work on void and tenanted properties, upholding safety standards and delivering quality craftsmanship for tenants and clients.

The role requires time-served joinery experience, CSR card, and a valid driving licence. You will join a responsive maintenance team with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Time-served or appropriately qualified with joinery experience.
• Proficient in 1st and 2nd fix joinery including ironmongery, door installation, roofing repairs, and general joinery works.
• Valid CSR card and full driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable working at heights and completing associated safety training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery, including repairs, installations, and fault finding on void and tenanted properties.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a courteous and effective service.
• Maintain high safety standards on site and complete all relevant documentation.
• Support out-of-hours callouts on a rotational basis.
• Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
