Job summary

Matchtech seeks skilled Marine Outfitters and Joiners in Cowes on the Isle of Wight for the final fit-out of pilot boats. You will install interior fixtures and fittings as the project reaches late production stages, reading drawings and executing precise interior works on a marine vessel.

Role requires experience in marine interiors and a keen eye for detail, to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely collaboration with other trades to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous marine outfitting or marine joinery experience.
• Ability to work from engineering and production drawings.
• Experience fitting bespoke interiors within marine, yacht, defence or commercial vessel projects.
• High attention to detail and quality standards.

We are looking for skilled Marine Outfitters and Joiners to support the final fit-out of pilot boats in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

This role will focus on the installation of interior fixtures and fittings as the programme has reached the final stages of production.

Duties

• Installation of marine interior joinery and outfitting
• Fitting bulkheads, linings, cabinetry and furniture
• Working from technical drawings and fit-out plans
• Finishing and snagging activities
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the build
• Working alongside other trades to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Previous marine outfitting or marine joinery experience
• Ability to work from engineering and production drawings

Package

• £25/h for all hours worked
• Monday to Saturday
• 10-12 hour days available throughout the project
