Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting experienced Marine Electricians to join a busy new build vessel programme based in Cowes, Isle of Wight. The role involves installing marine electrical systems, cable routing, lighting and switchboards, and supporting commissioning activities on high-spec pilot boats.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, work from electrical specifications, and uphold strict quality and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to work from electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience on vessel new-build, refit, defence or commercial marine projects.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• Strong focus on quality and safe working practices.

Job description

The project involves the fit-out of a high spec pilot boats. Construction is complete, and the vessels have now entered the final fit-out stage.

Duties

• Supporting commissioning and completion activities

• Monday to Saturday working available
