Job summary

Matchtech is seeking experienced Marine Pipefitters for a vessel fit-out project in Cowes, Isle of Wight. You will install and complete piping systems on newly built pilot boats, working during the final fit-out stage.

The role requires proven marine pipefitting experience, ability to read technical drawings, and readiness to work 10-12 hour days from Monday to Saturday with immediate starts. Ferry discounts are provided.

• Experience within shipbuilding, marine refit or offshore projects.
• Strong installation and assembly skills.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Marine Pipefitters for a vessel fit-out project in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

Working on a series of newly built pilot boats, you will be involved in the installation and completion of various piping systems during the final fit out stage.

Duties

• Installation of marine pipework systems
• Fabrication, fitting and assembly of pipe runs
• Installation of hydraulic, fuel, water and waste systems
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and isometrics
• Carrying out pressure testing and system checks
• Supporting the delivery of vessels through the fit-out phase

• £25/h for all hours worked
