Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a skilled joiner to travel across our North East properties, performing repairs, maintenance and refurbishments to a high standard. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, with a company van and fuel card, and join a team that values inclusion and wellbeing.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in joinery or carpentry, a valid UK driving licence, and willingness to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in joinery or carpentry.
• Experience in joinery repairs, glazing and UPVC work.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work independently with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

• Carry out joinery repairs, maintenance and refurbishments to a high standard
• Complete whole-job fixes to avoid repeat visits and delays
• NVQ Level 3 in joinery or carpentry
• Experience in joinery repairs, glazing and UPVC work
• Skills in other trades and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Confidence using technology and working independently
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

The practical bits

• You'll work Monday to Friday
• We work between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30
• You'll cover a patch across thee North East, working across our properties. Expect to spend most days on the road
• You get a van for business use and commuting, plus a fuel card
• You need a Basic DBS and health check that we pay for.
