Job summary

Multi Trades Recruitment is seeking two site joiners / fire door installers for a well-established client in the Barrow-in-Furness area. Immediate start. Working hours are Mon-Thu 8:00–16:00 and Fri 8:00–14:30, with 8 paid hours each day.

Role includes hanging around 12 FD30 fire doors and 8 standard doors on an HMO refurbishment, with new door frames already fitted. Fire door installation must meet tight gaps (2–4 mm) and close correctly. Own tools and transport preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be time served/qualified joiner or carpenter.
• Strong experience hanging doors essential.
• Fire door installation experience strongly preferred.
• Own tools required and transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hang approximately 12 x FD30 fire doors and 8 x standard doors.
• Work on an HMO refurbishment with new door frames already fitted.
• Ensure gaps of 2–4 mm and doors close correctly.
• Carry out additional joinery such as skirting, architraves and kitchenettes as needed.

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for 2 x Site Joiners / Fire Door Installers to begin work for a well-established company in the Barrow-in-Furness area.

About the role:

• Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, paid 8 hours
• Friday - 8:00am - 2:30pm, paid 8 hours
• Pay Rate - 270 per day
• Working on an HMO refurbishment
• Hanging approximately 12 x FD30 fire doors and 8 x standard doors
• New door frames are already being fitted
• Fire doors must be hung accurately to specification with approximately 2-4mm gaps and close correctly
• Additional joinery including skirting boards, architraves, ensuite lower-level panelling and fitting 1000mm kitchenettes
• Own tools required
• Own transport preferred
• Start: Immediate
