Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Joiner to work on behalf of the council in the Darlington area. You will carry out all aspects of 2nd fix maintenance in a busy planned repairs environment, including fitting and repairing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, worktops and flooring.

The role requires City and Guilds or NVQ in carpentry or joinery, plus experience in social housing or council property maintenance and a valid UK driving licence. A van is provided for work use.

Qualifications

• 2nd fix maintenance experience in social housing or council properties.
• Ability to fit/repair doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens and flooring to a high standard.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Planned repairs in domestic properties to a high standard.
