Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Carpenter & Joiner to support a long-term social housing maintenance programme on behalf of the local council. You will carry out first and second fix carpentry and joinery across housing properties, undertake kitchen repairs, and service doors.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, City & Guilds Craft or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry, and a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card; a basic DBS check.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (min 12 months).
• City & Guilds Craft or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry.
• CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.
• Basic DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out first and second fix carpentry and joinery across social housing properties.
• Undertaking kitchen repairs and repairing or replacing doors.
• Performing locksmith duties, including repairing, replacing and maintaining locks.
• Receiving and managing job assignments via handheld PDA (training provided).
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional manner with tenants.
